How to Spot Fake Government Job Scams in Pakistan
11 Oct 2026 · Focus: fake government jobs Pakistan
Whenever hiring season picks up, scam pages appear with logos copied from FPSC or PPSC. They ask for advance “processing fees,” CNIC photos on WhatsApp, or login details for “guaranteed selection.” Real commissions do not work that way.
Red flags
- Someone promises a job if you pay a private agent.
- The website domain does not match the official commission domain.
- You are asked to share OTP, password or full bank login.
- There is no public advertisement number, case number or closing date.
Safer habits
Open advertisements on the official site. Pay fees only inside that site’s payment flow. Ignore pages that look official but use odd spellings in the URL. On JobsOnline PK we only keep apply links that point to known official hosts, and we show the source so you can verify it.
If you already paid a scammer
Stop further payments, keep screenshots, and report the incident through official cybercrime channels and your bank if a card or account was used. Then apply again only through the genuine portal if the post is still open.
